Live Beyond Limits: Be a Force

This year, I’ve challenged to live my life as a force. This means going beyond what limits me; finding a way out through a four-walled room.

When we’re born, even before we could open our eyes, an identity is handed over to us. On a piece of paper written by man, we’re told which boxes we belong to. From this moment forth we merge into a world someone else has created for us, and when we feel like we don’t fit in … well, we beat ourselves for not being like eveybody else — or we’re just like everybody but are we really happy?

Hardly are we reminded that we’re something more than what a piece of paper has dictated. In this ignorance we shape our beliefs and thoughts on how we ought to perceive the world, and how we ought to live in it.

Here a few questions to gather where your beliefs are at right now:

  1. Can I consider myself patriotic? (This can be to anything from place of birth to school or work?)

2. Am I religious?

3. Do people consider me an honest person? Am I?

4. Have I made my parents/guardians/family/myself proud?

5. Why? (to all of the above)

In your answers I hope you’re able to discover if you’re living for yourself - to your highest potential, or if you’re living as you’re supposed to, “because that’s just the way it is”. As you embark on the days 2021 unravels, do your plans revolve around a person, situation or you?

2020 shook earth hard. Tectonic plates of what is normal has been shaken, a tidal wave to cleanse the earth of old beliefs and knowledge has taken place without denial. How are you going to choose to live this year? Holding on to old, unfermented soil? Or will you dare to step into new a territories of opportunity, joy and life?

A lot of questions, I know, but hopefully a few answers will stand out. Trust your gut, and take on living this new year with no limitations. The “signs” you’ve been waiting for have come to pass, now, it’s your turn!
