June 5th 2020 brings to the sky the ‘Strawberry Moon’, also known as the “Rose Moon”. In Sri Lanka, it’s called the“Poson” Full Moon, a day dedicated to celebrate the arrival of Buddhism to Sri Lanka. Regardless, I invite you to remove the training wheels of religion, and immerse yourself in the magic of the universe. Today, heralds a day to understand what this full moon means for YOU.

“Our Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence Earth’s tides and the water within our bodies — arousing our emotions, behaviours and our consciousness” (1). With that being said, each Lunar phase has a unique impact on our Earth and our Being. While the sun represents our ‘outer world’, the moon represents our ‘inner world” — that includes our emotions, dreams, unconscious beliefs. The moon offers us humans the ability to learn from our past and unlock our potential to be a better version of ourselves. The Full Moon phase in particular invites us to be grateful for what we have and what we will have in the future: A day to release and seal your intentions.

The Strawberry Moon in particular, invites you to enjoy the fruits of your labour(2), slow down, be grateful — you’re doing fine. Time is irrelevant and the changing phases of the moon remind us of this, every month. The universe is lighting up Earth’s sky to remind you to relax. This blog post on the hand is your reminder that all is well, all is temporary and that the only thing constant is change. Surrender.

2020 has been a tough year but with the setting of Spring dawns Summer.
Get ready to sit back and reap what you’ve sowed.
